Does anyone else hate...

Does anyone else get really annoyed when someone just sits there and calls a scroll trash over and over...every scroll has flaws every scroll has pros. It all depends on the users and how well they are with the scroll any scroll can be good depending on the players style or practice with it.

 

It al depends on your play style really. For some it's difficult to adapt from one scroll type to another so they call it trash.

 

Not really... just prove them wrong by destroying them with that scroll

 

If i can't beat it i just tell myself to "gid gud scrub" cause i sure as hell don't wanna up like @Rigamortis @RigamortisJr .

The kicks function like drunken master, which would be nice, except they have pretty **** range

Kkpp can fail, leaving you stuck in the animation of the last p, but your opponent is able to move around and isn't damaged.

Angling the last k or p of kkpk/p can make it fail randomly

Arguably the worst first punch in rf

It's okay I guess it just has shitty hitboxes and the damage seems a little low

 

This game is chock full of ignorance.

 

It all depend, Every scroll has their cons and pros like you said but lately the range of these juggle are being too damn annoying. I can use it too but I hate relying on a scroll to win. I personally use old gen scrolls unless I have the recent scrolls timed from a box or a log in event. I do complain because it's true. People do not like losing and they will play with whatever helps them win but I like having fun, I play with whatever is not used the most. For the exocore I will not lie, I have to use thunder blade because all of these cheap snake and phant exo, they are wayyy too annoying for me to even play against. slowly I'm accepting how rf is getting cancerous.

 

It's the truth and clowns can't handle the truth. Scrolls like vola, boran, electro,mystic arts and many others are competivly unfair because they are extremely ez to you while also keeping the user safe. These handicap scrolls are unbalanced and makes even the most basic style compete with a more advanced user. I mean these scrolls were made to help new users keep up with more experienced players in a attempt to help fix the big skill curve. But even good fighters like sai and others are using them which is sad too. It just was a bad idea to add all these basic clown scrolls. Nerf or add some form of room restrictions.

 

It's usually the player not the scroll itself.
