What does everyone think of Rumble Fighter as of now?

What do you guys think? Is the game solid as of now? Are there any bugs you would want to be fixed, or things changed? How is the new host? I just want to see what the community thinks!

 

Kinda weird we haven't had an update by now, but aside from that, I'm having fun

Bugs are usually the same from all pubs, that's an issue on the devs side and RedFox are doing pretty well atm

 

If effort is the same as 911 being an inside job then yes.

 

A lot of people talk about bug fixes that are "literally game breaking", however in my daily encounter, aside from air climbing, nothing actually bothers me or seems abusive. This discussion almost always comes up when there's a thread talking about the publisher and/or the developers.

I'll admit I might be ignorant of game breaking bugs/glitches because I almost exclusively play Moon, but exactly what "glitches" are people talking about that need to be "so desperately fixed"?

 

I think we should play a tennis match.
But really it's just a new logo to me, nothing new.

 

The only problems that come to my mind:
1) Occasionally having the game crash when using the item menu in waiting rooms (The ? button on your character), or when changing scroll/exocores. Usually comes with some sort of nonsense "Q_FUNC_AVT_NULL_VOID*" message. *Not actually what it says, but it's something like that. ;v
2) Having to go to Training/Survival/Plaza/AI Mode/Single Player Boss Mode first before being able to play normally. Some people end up getting disconnected because they forgot. It kinda sucks. :v
3) Getting disconnected in the lobby and getting no notification that you've disconnected until you enter a room and then see everyone having no bars. There seriously needs to be a way to reconnect to the server without having to shut down RF, then go through the patcher/launcher/gameguard again. :v

Other than that, I've not seen any real problems outside of item balancing which is never easy in any game. :3

 

The company is running to game good so far, but I honestly think that the gifting decision was a wrong move. In terms of content being provided by Nimonix, we have only gotten one official update by RedFox and it contained boxes which had to be purchase with cash. Doesn't show much interest in carat users. Anyways, I will wait for the next update to judge patch content. As for management, [GM]Gourdy has been the perfect GM. He has been active and very helpful, but they need more [GM]s to properly host RuF.

 

I never really thought of bugs in this context. I was thinking more so actual in game bugs as opposed to these errors. I'll admit that NimoniX really needs to step up their indicators for disconnections and related issues. First load, I believe this issue is very hard to tackle as no one really knows the cause of it. Once someone can recreate the issue 100%, it becomes very simple to fix.

 

At this point we're used to the issues in this game, compared to a new player trying RF as of now.

Can you be more specific on the bugs? I feel like outside of first load, I'm the only one enjoying a "bug free" or "game breaking bug free" game.

Redfox is not responsible for. They can only send a bug list to Nimonix. We all know they do nothing about them because they're the same bugs we've experienced since OGP.

Um they need to make money? Also updates have included carat items so I don't see how this is supposed to be a con?

Um hello, virtu stole a credit card and gifted numerous people? Obviously the credit card company took the money back. The 10-day rule protects players and Redfox.

Another issue that Redfox is not responsible for.

 

Im enjoying it I always have...But I never looked at the game as something bad like most do I over look all those little things...Only issue I have is the DDOS here and there...But I haven't had much lag issues or D/C's on Redfox. So im happy with it cx

 

Can someone explain to me this "Gifting" Incident?

 

The thread is about Rumble Fighter in general though. Just a tidbit that should be mentioned.
