I don't think this answers the op's question though....
No, you do not necessarily get banned for logging into another account. And I say necessarily because it depends on the situation. If for example you own a main and you log onto your alt, you won't be banned for that. If you log onto an account that does not belong to you (you've stolen it), if you are reported you will get banned. If you share accounts with another person, you MAY get banned (depending on whether red fox allows account sharing or not)

If your farming items or abusing events then you'll be permanantly banned with a possible ip ban depending on how severe the abuse is.

But if you have an alternative account you're indeed allowed to have it.

Answer number 1. The odds of you being banned for abusing items is slim, but just don't abuse in general.
