There is an error with clan meditation... The bot meditation gives damage instead of attack rating and dodge... also the world shaking meditation is weaker than...clan 2 meditation... makes no sense... why don't you guys switch it? make clan 1 meditation into what the world shaking meditation is...clan 2 into what clan 1 meditation is ....and work shaking meditation into what clan 2 meditation currently is? that makes more sense...
I am A Brotherhood of thief Hybrid, when I applied both the level 2 meditation and level 2 steps technique, both gave same things. either to tooltip for meditation is wrong, or wrong effect was applied, they both gave ck/melee damage, and melee def... and can you guys also look into adjusting the advance skills please? by switching effects like I suggested, Unless advance/world shaking clan meditation/steps is suppose to be worst than regular level 2 clan meditation/steps.. I thought it went like this, vagabond mediation/steps---> basic clan meditation/steps---->greater clan meditation/steps--------> (advance/word shaking) meditation/steps...
What is the name of the Meditation and Steps your character is using right now? Regarding the Adv Med/Step, the skills effects won't be adjusted. Previously all characters were using the same med/steps. In this revision, we recommend using your class-based med/steps.
Greater Taishan Meditation Before: Uses Chi to increase Damage, Chi Kung Damage and Defense by %d. Now: Uses Chi to increase Physical/Chi Kung Attack Rating and Chi Kung Dodge by %d. Greater Taishan Steps Before: Casts steps to increase Attack Rating by %d and Dodge by %d. Now: Casts steps to increase Physical/Chi Kung Attack and Defense by %d. One is Attack and one is Attacking Rating
yeah but its giving the wrong effect its giving Greater Taishan Meditation Now: Casts steps to increase Physical/Chi Kung Attack and Defense by %d. if you check the pictures of my stat you will see. here is without meditation here is with meditation you can see the physical damage and def change from meditation. its is an error and bug
So according to the table you provide, both skills (Meditation and Steps) is actually gave the same effect. The difference only in regular and greater, but both med & steps has the same effects (regular med == regular steps, greater med == greater steps).. xD
ah sorry GM...I guess skill is working as intended...just the description wrong lol.... can you correct from attack rate, to attack, on tooltip? its confusing thank you
regular med = AR/CK AR + CK Dodge greater med= AR/CK AR + CK Defence regular steps = AR/CK AR + Dodge greater steps = AR/CK AR + Defence Funny that using them together = 144 ve/s at C12.
wrong though...tool tip says what you just type but if you read the effect table gm posted it...... works more like regular med = AR/CK AR + CK Dodge greater med= phys damage/CK damage + CK Defence regular steps = AR/CK AR + Dodge greater steps = phys damage/CK damage + Defence that is why I made this thread...because I thought effect was wrong....just tool tip for greater med wrong... test and you will see
You are right. This GMs table is a piece of crap. It`s sad if GM receives such kind of information from JW. Now I better understand why sometimes it looks like GM doesn`t knows what we are talking about. Here is a @Eroine post with WT meditation skills: http://forums.playredfox.com/index....g-warrior-new-skills-guide.43213/#post-412082 Here is for shao with dmg too: Idk if for nukers it will give ckdmg. But I like the way it is now (with dmg) instead of AR, but this ve consumption. C`mon!
Actually, [GM]Ahri's explanation is also conflicted with the table.. xD So it's either a case of mistaken setting of the effects, or a typo on description..
To sum things up: - clan steps and meditation possible to learn from the clan teacher are now far better, than the adv med and steps we can get from tome - clan steps and med can be learned basically for free, just a bunch of contr points - tomes for adv med and steps are possible to buy for new currency-item, those "clanname spirit" or something, and they cost whooping 100 of them. I tried crafting them yesterday - i have burned through 10 stacks of spirit of kunlun, only to get 2 bot spirits. Easy math to calculate, that you need about 500 stacks of spirit of kunlun, which is 127500 items, and additionally 127500 red stones which means hundreds of disasembled highly refined weapons in order to get the damn thing this way. So, we get better skill basically for free, and need to grind thousands of hours (since i think hundreds wouldn't be quite enough) in order to get the weaker skill which wont ever be used. I don't know who among those working for either redfox or jongwoon is responsible for balancing this stuff, but you people obviously have no idea what you are doing...
This is rattling around in my head, trying to make sense of it, but i just can't... It appears to be the same issue with SF Warrior role (Mistress of War), and i'm assuming it's an issue with all other clans as well. Why are you giving us 4 different skills that give 2 effects and not.. Oh I don't know, 2 skills that give 2 effects? By their names alone the Greater Role Meditation/Steps should be an improvement over the Basic Role Meditation/Steps. And both should be better than the general Clan Basic Meditation/Steps. If you wanted to differentiate between the fighting roles and the casters, you could have a "simpler" route. Give Warriors the best Greater Role Steps skill, since they need to pay attention to their footing as this is a "martial-arts" themed game. But dont give em any Meditation skill other than the Basic Clan one. For Chi Kung Users (Nukers) give them the best Greater Role Meditation skill, as they don't need to watch their footing as much but rather they need to keep their concentration up by constant meditation. As for the other two roles, both Strategists and Hybrids should get a Basic Role Meditation and Steps Skill, as they can utilze both, but not the Greater skill, as mastery of each should remain to the specific roles (Warriors / Chi Kung users). I can almost understand the new higher VE costs to force a heavier itemization (and lets face it more Essence dumps) but I feel it is a way too steep increase. It will take us quite some time to adjust. Especially low lvl characters who don't have a higher lvl character to feed em items or a dedicated Strategist babysitter. (There I said it. We are getting reduced to be gloriously necessary babysitters....) I'm rambling now... my mind is lit with raging fire, I'm pestered to divert my attention elsewhere, I have to get ready to go to work and I just don't understand WHY, why this change to steps and meditation... Puri out.
just think of it as there is no better steps/meditation anymore.... its a new system..I know... but look at it like they are 2 different kinds of steps/med, both on same level with different properties.... And healers were always babysitters.....just better better sitter now...with annoyingly low buff duration....
