The Land of Light and Darkness The planet of Cradus should be considered more an alternate reality of Earth. The world that that holds our Guardians started out much like our own,however there was one key point in evolution which would separate us as a species forever,the ability to channel spiritual energy. In our world spiritual energy isn't even tangible and/or proven,fortunately in their world it effected every detail of life around them from the flora&fauna to separation of humanoids. The power came many new trials,while our Neanderthal ancestors fought mammoths,theirs developed claws and teeth to better hunt their prey. As The Great Crusaders took lands back from the Moors, The Alchemia Bastion fought tirelessly against the hordes of vile undead and their overlords. As Feudal Japan witnessed saw constant war and strife,The four Elemental Lords founded an alliance bring unending peace while having shadow-less body guards in waiting. And while we fought civil wars for the equality of skin,they fought world rending wars that devastated millions over the power of strength that made them so arrogant. As the wars came to an end over the centuries,something grew in the far war torn reaches that no one would touch. As these wars were fought the residue from all the hate,anguish,greed, and lust grew so did it. Its birth was said to have been heard by every man, woman and child. From the shadows rose this "dark" lord it riled wild creatures into vicious forms it turned many a country into a diseased wastelands. All as this happened it called out "Foolish children of our father Cradus! I am child and for trifling his gift, I...bring...retribution!Cry! Rejoice! Scream! For I shall bring the eternal fighting you so desire! Please join me in this eternal rumbling of souls" The Bringer of False Hope Some say it was like a nightmare turned real or rather a nightmare that never ended. Anywhere that was deemed safe was never such for long,this proved especially so for the home country of the Elementalists who had no real law-keepers to maintain any kind of balance of law and chaos against the Dark Lord as this creature had been named. Stryykers were the wild were-people of the north which the Alchemists viewed with an incredible amount of disdain and disgust. Strikers are essentially non-animal transformation capable Soul-Fighters. Stryykers continued largely unaffected due to their penchant for throwing fists and asking questions later. They suffered from rioting buy the hundreds of thousands and any attempt at government often relied on hired Alchemists for law-enforcement. The Alchemia Bastion seemed to be the only truly unaffected by this darkness since they had only known their fighting with their brethren and vile abyssal creatures.It was only when the Dark Lord took a series of city states which were complete leveled that they even attempted to make more permanent connections to the lesser affected "Stray Curs" or Stryykers. Although the Stryykers were crucial to holding the Dark Lords forces at bay,they refused to garrison in the great city of Alchemist City saying it was "tainted and not even fit to put a territory mark on." Many were frightened,few amused,none foolish,so when the turncoat Locke mutated himself into his hideous form releasing his goblinoid minions,he was soundly beaten. More to come later on or tomorrow we will definitely get out of the dull prologue and into the some of the more finer aspects of the Strikers,Soul Fighters , Alchemists , Androids , and those oh so mysterious Shamans.
