So for the past week me and my guild have been getting ddosed by a player .. i know his ign , and he has many alts . But my question is .. how much proof would i need . And what can be done about him . I mean a friend of mine told me u can go to jail for ddosing . I just dont feel comfy playing with this guy . Ddosers are one of the biggest reasons this game is going downhill.
If you can get a screenshot of router logs with the said players IP Address in your incoming logs, that would be more than enough proof. Or any screenshots of the DDoS threats (but so far that's only landed people temporary bans). I do have an idea of the player you're talking about, though... He uses a VPN and site to boot people and the most he can keep people offline for is a couple seconds while at the same time keeping himself almost anonymous. At least when it happens to me.

Wait... I kinda assumed that with the new server changes and whatnot people like the Weld clan couldn't get other players IP addresses? Or was it so Redfox can cover their own servers?
I think its sad that we know who the problem rf players are who ddos , but thats as far as its going .
They removed the VPN this last update. IP Loggers work again, so anyone who had an IP Logger and/or Booter can DDoS again.
