As you all know a big war was upon us and many dragons left us more than 10 years ago, some battle new lands and some still with us in the old 9Dragons land, taming the dragons or passing on the teachings. It is said, that, the myths from old times tell the stories of legendary warriors whose kung fu skills are stuffs of legends. It is true that the strong aspect of kung fu is the desired end : however to achieve this end, skills and mastery must come first. Kung fu means to attain a high level of skill through hard work and practice. There are no short cuts or easy ways and many mistakes are made on the way. All requires dedications, passion and hard work, but most important a sens of fun and enjoyment. Dragons, start with us this epic journey and find the masters secrets, who are the people behind the avatars, what they do, their stories, their joys and sorrows, their heroes lives and what they want to pass on. They all started as pupils, as you, young one and their stories many not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make them who they are now, it is the rest of the story that matters and what they CHOOSE TO BE ! The story that survive over 14 years for us, it was written for korean version by Jwa Baek a wuxia novelist and for western version by Steven-Elliot Altman as Lead Writer for Acclaim. Jwa Baek keeps a low profile, but is a well-known wuxia author in Korea. The vision of the writer was for each player to make his own path in the martial arts universe and write his own story, him only to give us the world and the intersection. All started from a web novela that was posted in Indy21 site, later on korean 9dragons. More in HERE To deliver the version for the western version was hired by Acclaim, Steven-Elliot Altman. He is an American author, graphic novelist, video game writer-director, producer, screenwriter and the current Chief Executive Officer of a software company called Social Impulse that services the videogame industry. He was introduced to us like this : "Steven-Elliot Altman, best-selling author and Hollywood screenwriter, has signed on as the lead writer and loremaster of 9Dragons gold, the first authentic martial arts massively multiplayer online game. Greetings martial artists of the land, Today we took the journey into the year 2006 (alpha testing), when the lore was made public by Ken Johnston. It is indeed true that some of the clans were presented under another name. Overs the years SR Community blog, forum and groups stood the time test, but the official publishers didn't, all our posts on 9d history and guides were out of internet after the publisher was change, meaning we waste our time and everything we provided just to be deleted when official forums were down. We will not repeat same mistakes again. Also it is not against the TOS as some imply (let's delete all you tube links videos too and many more!!!). Our community who has a lot of old school in it, with a great knowledge of 14 years of game, simple try to promote the game and community and not asking anything in exchange. SeA play a big part in the story. Many play because of the story. Wuxia is hard to be understood if you don't have a story teller, same with quest lines. In the future, the game needs to tell stories again.

Dragons, in 2006 we all embark on an epic journey of 9Dragons. In 2006 we all belong to the same community of dragons, a small village of young dragons disciples who grow up and transformed the village into a fortress, then into an empire, looking to ascend into the heaven sky and meet his emperor. The fates were not in our favor and after Acclaim lost the publisher rights the community divided into many servers and small communities. Some survived, some did not, but no matter where the dragons are, we all stayed united in the passion over the game and the story. SR, for 14 years feels is part of something that is above us. We will try our best. Our role is simple : we want to inform the community on these practices to don't hang up there or make any transactions with these people and why they should work together with RedFox GMs to give a helping hand in order for all to have a better game play. We would like to present also two cases that lately shake up the transactions world and how all of you could end up without an account or be banned. It is clear we will not present any names, the essence is the prevention campaigns and educate the community.
