For GFX creators: What style of events would you guys prefer: to be given certain assets to work with (kinda like Food Network's Chopped) or just give a topic and let you guys have at it? For drawing creators: If there were an event for drawings, would you want to be judged next to gfx creators, or would you prefer to only be judged with fellow drawing creators? Feedback if possible, please!
I think you should switch it up. Some events Chopped style and some not. Some events with both drawing and GFX entries and some with separate judging.
So what your thinking is making an Art based contest on constant elimination till there's only one or? Haha funny approach but tad confused by it. I believe GFX and Drawn pieces should be judged separately, but nonetheless it's an opinion.

That's not what he meant by the Chopped reference. He meant they will give the ingredients you must work with.
IMO, the 2 styles can be judged in the same event. As some GFX surpass some drawings and vice versa. I'd want a stricter judging on the entries, because some entries are a bit too lazy. Also, separating the 2 styles would already narrow down even more the small Art community 0:

that would be sick to have some events but sadly creative corner is kinda small. i hope some more artist and designers come back. best wishes to those that are keeping it alive.
I am a little bored of loading screen art events. How about a "Draw your character" event? Or "Create your own mini comic or animation"(Like Rumblemation). Maybe even writing events. Like write a story about RF?
Speaking from experience of old Rf art events, people flocked more towards the loading screen events because they could see it in the game and for the prizes ofc. Also, a writing event sounds nice but I can feel the 'tl;dr' stories.
Certain assets kind of sounds like fun, but you could use that for rare events or when you feel like having fun? lol Whereas contest based on topic should be the norm. Have different categories for winners based on GFX vs. drawing entries please! Event suggestion! Art Feature! on FB and/or Twitter. Winner chosen weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Eligibility GFX, drawing, song/rap, video, or even a really creative screenshot edit. Prize - Any 1 item in shop or a rare? - Art is featured on RF's FB or Twitter until the next winner is chosen (or for a set amount of time). Optional participation prize: A random carat item or a small RC item?
For GFX creators: I would prefer you let everyone have at it. Some people have stronger assets than others, be it abstract or render sigs. For drawing creators: Judge us only with people who are drawing. It'd cause an uproar if one side beat the other due to "oh he's drawing, no wonder he won" or "LOL UR TELLING ME MY HARD WORK IN HOURS OF DRAWING THIS LOST TO SOMEONE SLAPPING A CHARACTER OVER A BACKGROUND?"
Loading screen events pls Judging separately is probably the wisest way to do it Also some sort of incentive to win, be it RC or rare items ingame
