Experience system and experience rate increases

    Experience is given by experience point. An Experience Point (abbreviated EXP or XP) is a unit of measurement for character level advancement. Advancing to the next level requires a fixed amount of experience points which is determined by a formula. In 9Dragons Awaken the formula is not fixed.

    Level 0 to level 1 :

    Character_Level + Quest_Level + Quest_XP = (100 %) (Full_Quest_XP)

    For level 0 to level 1 is full quest exp (100%) = 1 level

    Level 1 to level 2 :

    Character_Level + Quest_Level + Quest_XP = (29.41%) + Mobs_Level+Mobs_XP (2 white x 35.5%)

    Where 1 mob white, same level as character is giving 35.5% experience %.

    Killing two mobs = 70.8 %

    Total = 140.8 %, increasing 40.8% from 100% exp points bar.

    So level 1 to 2 exp is composed from quest exp and mobs exp.

    If we want to introduce other factors like premium and increases we must change the formula. With new would be :

    Character_Level + Quest_Level + Quest_XP = (29.41%) + Mobs_Level+Mobs_XP (1 white x ...increases).

    Or
    Character_Level + Mobs_Level+Mobs_XP (1 mob color x ...increases).

    In 9 Dragons Awaken you can gain experience by killing mobs individual and party, completing quests individual or parties or dungeons for experience on individual or parties. We also have the concept of powerlevel, where a player in a party levels other that are below. This is the case for School of Rising Sun, where at low levels you can 6 levels per run.


    XP bar :
    The XP bar is a status bar that appears in the left part of the screen (down) and tracks the amount of experience points needed to get to the next level. It changes color to blue after gaining experience.

    The experience needed for a given level is specified by a formula that takes in to account several different factors :
    - Character level (at low level you gain the highest level, experience level decreases with levels) ;
    - Mobs level (the higher the mob level, the higher the experience is) ;
    - Quest ( some quests can give experience).

    9 Dragons Awakens uses a unique leveling system, in which each level has 12 chengs like sub-level system. Each time a character change 12 chengs, he receive a new title. The cheng system is also connected to attribute system. Each time you level you get 4 attributes and at cheng 12, 6.

    [Level Locking]

    Level locking means you can stuck with a cheng 12 level and do not the chi breath. Many players locks levels to farm from low characters, low level mobs for different items or events mats. You will not get any experience if you are stuck with cheng 12, only drop (loot).
