    Thank you for your feedback regarding Specialist Towers. We appreciate everyone that responded on this thread and we will relay your concerns to our developers.

    We have received a lot of feedback about Specialist Towers and how their damage was reduced after the 4.25 Update. In order to address this issue, we have conducted many tests with towers and are asking the community for their feedback about this issue.

    [SUMMARY]

    In the previous update, some PitBosses had a huge amount of HitPoints and Health Regen, where they were impossible to kill without the use of multiple towers. Towers also did an enormous amount of damage, far more than any individual character could deal, at a very high material cost.

    In the 4.25 Update, PitBoss Health was adjusted so that groups of players would be able to kill them without the use of towers. The material cost of summoning towers was also greatly reduced.

    Because of these PitBoss Health changes, if Towers are given their old damage back, Specialists will be able to kill PitBosses in seconds. On the other hand, if some PitBosses can only be killed with Towers, this prevents a lot of players from getting access to these monsters and their items.

    Our goal in balancing towers is find a good balance between these two situations.

    [TESTING DATA]

    In our testing, 4 Level 70 Towers can kill a Giant Beacon faster than a Level 70 Striker with a Lvl 70 Rare D Dark Flame Launcher +5. With good placement, 5 or 6 Towers can target the same PitBoss, which would increase the potential damage.

    [QUESTION]

    In order to make towers a viable tool for PvP and PvE, how much should tower damage be increased by?

    [POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS]

    Reduce the number of towers that can be summoned and increase cost/damage

    So it is a normal situation. I do not get, why it has to be discussed.
    It is a CCR development settings and it is logical and hundred times tested.
    Guard towers always have the biggest DPS opportunity in game.
    They are statically disposed, they costs money themselves and require expensive resources to make it active.
    Btw it is the only way to be useful for specialists (except Cora)
    The best way, you can solve this situation is to leave everything as on every Official RFO server must be.
    I mean - standard settings.
    Please do not invent a bicycle one more time.
    We are grateful to you for contacting us for an advice.
    But it seems to me, because of the illiterate opinions of the players, all these situations are happening.
    Formula for the damage of guard towers as many other settings is not a question to the players.
    Maybe only for pro RFO gamers with a 10 years of experiense.
    I will repeat, there are standard settings and it is not necessary to correct them.

    Guys .... Increase dmg only in pvp...and make more expensive....and the numbers.... 02 towers....more expensive ...and with a good dmg will be great ..

    Btw.... Are u guys looking the melle dmg too?

    Specs have other way to pvp .. Melle with no atk haven't.

    Yeah, and make MAU disapears after 12 hours of active using. Lets more farm!!!!
    And Coras`s summons, let them make damage only to each other!

    Please, use your brain before you write anything at forum.
    Because of people like you. this server has guard towers with "1lvl weapon" DPS etc.
    Btw it is a topic about guard towers not about mellee DMG.

    i just want to throw this in



    lvl 55 T2 tower once did damage of t3 blue mau, now it does 4k damage on a naked char
    even a 55 int axe no eles no adre normal hit is better than a 55 tower
    lol, just lol.

    why not just give towers back the exact same damage as before update? noone ever complained about towers, they were just perfect the way they are.

    i think return 100% of original damage towers if you worry about pit bosses ... well now your pbs got no rare D items no 3d bro elems no anythink more valuable which give specu unbalance in the game ...

    Interesting. To help with a solution, first would be good to us know how much % exactly you guys reduced from towers damage. With bube's video we can see how nerfed is the state of towers now.
    Maybe this solution would satisfy specialist players, increasing price of materials and tower damage (after know how much they loss previously), and specialist being restricted to put only 2~3 towers.

    Well i agree with the majority here, we have never had any issue with tower dps before the patch. Just leave it as the way it was. And one last thing i want to emphasize, i know this is discussion about tower but i would like to bring the issue about melee's damage onto the surface as well. I am pretty sure Gms are aware of this too, i just hope they can return the melee as the way it was

    Make PBs (atleast Majors like 3 Brothers, Ring Leader and Jetso) harder again.
    Btw It will not help much if Jetso PB drops are not fixed too

    Another Stupid Discussion..

    Accre Specs no towers is useless.. "JUST SUPPORT"
    Cora Spec no Towers but they have Animus..
    Bellatos Spec no Towers may shift to Rider..

    Remove Excelsiars on NPC and returned the towers original damage..
    Problem is if they do that it will ruin their entire Dearly VIPs precious Patch..

    Edit: Bring back Charms on NPC especially Holy charm, owning mages...

    For how long have you been played here?
    Usually they (redfox staff) doesnt hear us, the community, if this is real, if they willing to listen and worried with us, is not stupid.
    Redfox made some bad moves recently, like 4.25 patch, this is a sht, a mess, but may they are going to rework and make things better;
    Who knows...

    Its not just redfox fault, if RF Online have TONS of problems its because CCR didnt pay enough attention for their own game for looooong years. CCR tried evolve RF to a new way (some years ago, with v1.5) and failed, then they just let it go, because after that, ccr dont make new content for their game, and let publishers (like redfox and that publisher from Russia) make new things, atleast they r trying.

    Reverd back to the old update - let the lvl cap stay lvl 80 until evrything is released items 70 +...- release lvl 73-75-77-80 armors shields waeps - realese lvl 70-80 summons maus siega kits- dont ask overrpiced price for cash chop items make the cash chop price like atleast 80 % cheapee - give usa server premium service like 5 dolars for 1 month like other official servers - give us nog quest daily quest new journal quest from lvl 1-80- ad new scrols to npcs for all new maps and u can run to it to - ad more new maps to lvl in i now there are stil many new maps for lvls 40 to 80 - ad more elite training scool maps 66-70 71-80 - ad new battle dungean keys for lvl 40-80 keys for exp experiance bds and reward bds- ad lvl 55-60-65-70 relics elvens pvp waepons - ad lvl 55-57-60-63-65-67-70 superior and type c shields armors and waeps- ad somthing that when u login u ged free items like day 1 u ged item second day u ged another item when u login 1 week u ged special item / so ad reward system / when u kil x amount of monsters u ged reward / when u upgrade item to+5 u ged reward - make new gameguard becoz now evrybody can use hacks becoz then there wont be any use of hacks- make new game engine so u can upgrade the graphix or upgrade the graphix of rf online - ad npcs to the new maps

    I have been playing RF for more than 10 years specifically a Spec for Bellatos both MAU and Towerist and I can tell you there is nothing right about the current damage of the Guard Towers. Like mentioned earlier by someone remove the instant excelsiars in NPC so people also don't abuse and bring back the old damage. I have no idea why you even changed it. Despite its high DPS towers are costly and has zero mobility meaning if the fight moves to a different location it will cost you. This is how balance was maintained since RF started despite its high DPS.
