By the way, they do celebrate Chinese New Year (in Japan). Also, Koreans celebrate Chinese New Year. Both countries used to use Chinese Calendar. Some people prefer to celebrate their birthday according to Chinese Calendar, too. However, in both Japan and Korea, we call it something else. We don't call it, "Chinese New Year".
