Hello, I am a returning player and have some questions about traps? What traps are worth using? And is a CK build doable with them? Greetings,
Welcome back (to 9D) ^^ Depends if you;re PvE or PvP, however, Evade is most likely priority #1. Aside from that (for PvE) not much more is needed once you've maxed (%100) your recast reduction. You can also go for Martial Arts (Dodge) & Extreme Technique (Success). As for PvP, I'd suggest Bleed, and Restraint w/bleed skill, but I am not a PvP'er sooo.. Best of luck =)
As far as I am concerned Healers (with C12 skills) are one of the best roles for farming since we solo most (bosses and dungeons). However, CK Hybrids take top-spot once they reach HG, as they can deal a horrendous amount of damage to mobs and bosses in Potala and Icy Dungeon, using their AoE.
I have all traps (19 of them) maxed, but the only ones I really use are: Extreme Dodge = "Evade" -- Very good for boss fights. Crushing (Adv) = "Defense Trap" -- c10 is -60% defense and will help you kill twice as fast. Recovery = Heal -- Good supplementary heal. Stacks with your quick heal and is not nerfed in pvp. Extreme Technique = All Attack Succeed -- Great on dodgy mobs (i.e. red icy queen) and a good supporting trap when helping with epithet runs. Darkness = Great on mobs stuck in "line of sight." This trap blinds monsters and makes them move. Shackles = Short casting trap to disable a PKer. I use that to run away mainly, as I don't pvp.
