    The concept of scrolls in Rumble Fighter are handled pretty well. There is no Game-Solution to competitive play. You need to work for whatever it is you do. You can't go in Guild War or Rank and start up a fight. You need to find your opponents and set up your conditions. It leads to arguements, People not get involved, etc.

    People won't allow Rares to be used in "1v1s" or "competitive play" but some people can quickly put em on and get somewhat of an unfair advantage. Then again; Instead of just creating Zin TKD BF, They could have just edited Zin TKD. That or create a very short timed edition only. Imagine if some users on Street Fighter or Soul Caliber obtained a special edition character for a limited time and then gets to use it in rank with exclusive advantage combos. You would work your way into tournaments easily. It would also create more debates, arguements and player made rules for everyone. Its a milking technique for companies on the market that can't create income in a honnest way.

    You can be good with any scroll, You can take lets say a B tier scroll and it would be your best choice for you. But statistically speaking, The S tier scroll would have more advantages to it and be logical to practice with and use. Any scroll with a Boxed or Event edition deserves an upgrade. Event obtained or money obtained items should just result in cosmetic effects. Plus when a new mechanic is introduced it can be implemented into several scrolls.

    As already mentioned, Metatron should have a much faster combos

    Drunken Boxing SE deserves not only the Drunken Master grab but also its ground hit too. I can see the current ground hit kind of working but it'd be better off using the one from Drunken Master

    Jujitsu SE needs a back grab

    Exiles kick combo should be faster

    I like your idea of creating conditions in a room, specifically for guild battles. It has been an idea that has been discussed before, but was ultimately scrapped for some unknown reason. We will bring it back up.

    Metatron - Make the scroll faster
    Ninjutsu - Give the scroll more hitstun
    Tengoryu Karate - Give KG more iframes
    Black Tortoise - Give punch combo more hitstun
    Dambe - Add backgrab;)
    Slash - Make combos faster
    Mach Knuckle - Give punch combo more hitstun
    Baguazhang - Make combos faster, give combos more hitstun

    why not upgrade ninjistu also?
    Stick the original dark haze ninjistu in the shop while you're at it since there's like 10 different versions now.

    Personally, I'd like to see:
    Street - Get a kG Curb Stomp ground hit just to give it more style points.
    Renegade - Get a back grab that doesn't throw the opponent very far (Maybe just puts them down right behind the user?) I'd also like to see the first punch hit a little sooner, since it's so slow that it's out-sped by just about every other scroll's kicks.
    Meriken - I'd like to see the kG P either become a grab hit move (maybe use the same animation as the KKP, but it leads into the gut punches instead of the launcher) or have the hitboxes increased in size a little.
    Ninjutsu - This scroll should, at the very least, get the neck-snap front grab that Blood Wind has, instead of the default one. Also, I don't think it has a launcher, so giving it one would be nice. (All the other Class scrolls have launchers, after all.)
    Kung-Fu - This scroll's KkGK should be a launcher.
    Taekkyon - The kick combo needs to be sped up, and either the PK or PPP should be a launcher of some sort. It doesn't have to be a very good launcher, mind you, since it's a 21500 carat scroll, but it should still have one.
    Murekwon - This scroll's grab should be a Bear Hug. Either that, or give it a Bear Hug kG move. It's the "Bear Fighting Style" scroll after all. :p
    Jeet Kun Do - It needs that kG ground hit that the old Tutorial 2 Boss had.
    Pro Wrestling - A very slight increase in hitbox size on the last input of KKKK would be nice so the few times you can juggle someone with the scroll, you can go >>G P P KKKK successfully without a wall.
    Karate - Make it all-class. Currently, it's a weird Striker/Alchemist exclusive scroll. Its current state is a relic from an age when Nimonix cared about the Class Identities beyond Humans and Androids, and there haven't been any other scrolls that have come out since then that have had the two-class exclusivity. Also, perhaps give it a nice kG move where the user does a breathing exercise or that famous Karate pose with the feet shoulder-width apart and punching forward with a "HA!" to gain a "Power Up" bonus for the next 4 hits (Not-stack-able.)

    I'll come back later with more ideas, since I know there are some 1050rc scrolls that don't feel like they should cost that much so would be nice to have a buff somewhere for 'em, but I can't remember which ones.

    Scrolls

    Vale Tudo

    • Give Vale Tudo an Omni Backgrab (Combat Sambo's Backgrab or Lucha Libre's Suplex backgrab)
    • Give Vale Tudo Krav Maga's Frontal Grab due to it's fighting origin.
    • Change the counter to Dirty's Grab.
    (Just update Vale Tudo, Give it more combos or something not necessarily more damage. It's practically Vanessa Lewis from Virtua Fighter so add some moves from her)

    Hunter
    • Decrease Hunter's damage, increase the speed slightly
    • Make the counter duration as Kingpin's counter duration. Keep the counter animation since it's unique but it lasts way too long, please make it possible to walk out of it as soon as the counter window is over just like Kingpin's.

    Vermillion Phoenix
    • Decrease damage
    • Add additional punch combo strings
    • Decrease the knockback of PK
    • Give it more combos.
    (Fix the scroll, it's Sarah Bryant From Virtua Fighter, the scroll deserves more potential than what we received.)

    NERF ALL SCROLLS THAT HAVE ADDED DAMAGE, BALANCE THE DAMAGE OUT SO IT CAN BE UNBANNED IN 1V1'S.

    Can you buff Exile's PPK Juggle launcher, people can easily block in and Pencak Silat; kick kick kick step back. Step back needs to be further.

    Persona: Change punch combo speed so the juggle actually connects all the way, increase speed of kick combo.
    This should also be made into carat.
    Doutetsu: Fix the punch combo so it isn't blockable mid combo.
    Blackout: Make the K+G a ground hit, and make the last chargeable kick unblockable.
    Aikido: Fix a majority of the grab combos so they connect.
    Parkour: Make the last kick of the kick combo connect during a juggle.
    Exile: Make some of the combos faster.

    Its been brought up many times in the past. Pretty much like the 1v1 streak mode. People opted not to participate due to most of it being Revives+2x Panic+Stats+Potions+Rares.

    With such conditions, The average player doesn't have a chance. Then again, With matching conditions; The factor of skill is highly reduce and becomes more of a luck factor in relation.

    If its not specifically to promote competitive play, It will finish like precision channel

    Since this post is about "Scroll buffing"; I'll give my 2 cents:

    Add Cz moves to these:
    • Street (Same ground hit as KravMaga for da attitude)
    • Taekwondo (This is an entry for many players, It can compete with many RC scrolls due to amazing kicks)
    • Ninjitsu
    • Taekkyeon
    • Muay Thai (Amazing quick edge potential + fence + easy to angle and fast kicks, A utility Cz would add to it)
    • Murekwon (Same ground hit as KravMaga for da attitude)
    • Mao Gong
    • Shaolin
    • Baguazhang
    • Mach Knuckle
    • Geumgangtu
    • Koroshu
    • Jeet Kun Do (There is literatly a NPC version with a ground hit already made)
    • Drunken Boxing

    Add Back Grabs to these:
    • Vale Tudo (sambo style would fit perfectly)
    • Persona (Scrol has a nice choke grab, A rear choke would be amazing and add to its potential)
    Release these and change:
    • Dark Haze Ninjitsu(BMN) needs to be released, As carats like it should be.
    • Scroll variants right now are considered "Rare Scrolls" with pay to privileges. You can not use as advertising "Spending money results in only cosmetic features and will not make you better than free to play player". Specially since this is a PvP game; Its hurting it badly.
    • Scroll variants can be renamed, Like ZinTaekwondo and Hawk Hunter when changes are pretty big. Then scrolls like there original, Then the BF edition or boxed edition, etc; Should be sold under different items with simular titles in the shop. While the current existing special edition offers a cosmetic add-on. Either that or permanently replace the lesser (older) version of the scroll. I dont see why we have Geumgangtu, When the SE is better in every way possible. A waste of files and poor developpement.
    • Rare Styles of combat in PvP should be non-existant. This isn't a game where you will Gacha for Units and Stats to build your team or go in a RPG and get amazing upgraded gear. This is a PvP game with a BossMode feature that should have more stuff focused for PvP only and PvE only. You will never see a game like SoulCaliber, StreetFighter, etc, That someone will be privileged enough to have a Rare and Extra Powered character to smash others and climb ranks or take over lobbiess.
    Scroll Modifications and Upgrades:
    • Jeet Kun Do: A unique grab, >>Z and a Cz. Also, Changing hitbox to match Dragons on KKK.
    • Koroshu: A stun adjustment could be used. Also scroll is very plain.
    • MaoGong: KKP launcher
    • Shaolin: KCP Launcher and Cz
    • Taekkyon is a lesser to TKD?!?
    • Will ADD

    Universal grab damage increase and counter damage buff, more on hit damage / quicker recovery to move start up into combo.
    Faster grab animations (sorry Red Storm and Muscle Buster)
    All classic carat Sacred Scrolls combos should be examined to make sure that the combo can fully connect, what I mean by this is the combo string, if not delayed and canceled, should always hit as intended.
    Specific combos that I mean are the following:
    Carat Scrolls two hit edge combo (normally punch kick) always hits if instantly canceled.
    Default strings buffed to always hit on hit if canceled immediately. Kick combo now works
    Exile's punch string has low hitstun on all punch confirms and doesn't work as intended. Also the kick combo doesn't have correct hitboxes. I've hit someone with the animation playing and they have literally walked into it while nothing happened. (Check hitboxes and fix accordingly?)
    Renegade and Street's string combos need to be hit stun buffed to canceled easily to the next string if on hit.
    Ninjitsu needs it's unique upgrade considering Kung-Fu, Shidokan, and Kabudo all got their own version upgrade.
    Speaking of Kung-Fu buff the punch combo stun because it's garbage and buff the first kick priority and speed.
    Jujitsu's punch combo now fully connects and hits over walls. Also add a unique punch kick punch mix up if can and the SE version upgades relating to counter/grab.
    Shaolin also comes to mind with it's combo to hit over walls and also the punch combo doesn't work as intended.
    Muay Thai could use more hitstun on the first two punches if not delayed for a more consistent trademark combo.
    Also it's punch kick kick mix up has never worked in the history of Rumble Fighter.
    Red Scorpion's punch combo strings do not have correct hitboxes or enough hit stun on certain hits, specifically the first two punches and the fourth hit lack enough hitstun in certain cases. Also the punch kick punch mix up isn't fast enough on the kick cancel to be effective. Kick combo now works similar to Summer Version but the final kick string can be replaced with a cz mix move to cause juggle launcher. The dash guard move unique needs to be faster start up. Range is great but it's so slow it's virtually unusable in most cases. Faster grab animation please.
    As much as I love Combat Sambo post the Carat buff it's 1st hit is great for tick throws (making sure they block to set up grab) the second hit in the punch combo doesn't come out fast enough to connect the third hit making it inferior punch combo wise. Buff to it's kick counter move to have bigger hit box for edge potential.
    Tengoryu Karate 2nd punch combo hit stun buff for consistency.
    Red Storm punch combo histun buff. Change the cz grab to normal grab animation for dash cancel shenanigans or make it normal start up. It's full kick punch grab unique combo has a bug where it doesn't allow you to cancel into dash to do it's ground hit.
    Dragon's punch string needs more hit stun during the first three punch strings and a damage buff because it's 2nd kick string mix up option has superior damage and nanmu cancel ability if done correctly.
    Avenger (classic) 360* buff and hit stun buffs on punch combo.
    Jeet Kun Do needs hit stun buff. Specifically it's punch kick and punch punch kick string. Any variation of Jeet Kun Do also has Dragon's Kick and the One-Inch Punch unique counter.
    Capoeira punch string hit stun buff and damage buff or knockback (give person a knock back farther with either kick combo or punch combo then make the opposite do more damage as a sacrifice).
    Remove classic Geumangtu and put Geumangtu SE as base. It's a great classic scroll but it's just suffers from being out dated.
    Remove Karate's class only restriction and buff it's counter/grab to match Zin Karate. Also add quicker start up on it's kick juggle animation.
    Drunken Boxing buff would be adding enough hit stun on the punch strings to allow the combo to fully connect or use the punch punch kick as an angle combo. That or remove it and replace with DB SE and then give it Drunken Master's grab and ground hit ( if it doesn't have them already).
    Boxing needs a hit stun buff on all punches and quicker start up imo. A unique punch kick punch string would be nice or just only have Boxing SE.
    Shoot Boxing nerf to kick combo hit stun as it can control the entire pace of a round with delays. Buff the punch combo more to actually have enough hit stun. Faster unblockable punch and a ground hit would be great though.
