yes, possibility of being scammed is there. Just make video and make sure the quality is good and also take very detailed screen shot of detailed agreement.
The staff won't do anything, as it's your choice to do something illegal under the ToS. At best, they will shrug and offer you a sorry not sorry response. So you run the risk of losing out on either in-game gold or real life cash.
I bought some Scales when were on the discount (bought like 9 or 10 scales) and sold them for 125kk (pretty quick) and some of them 140kk(at auction house but very difficult to sell at that price). Its not the profitable way to make money, but at least i earned just like i would sell the credits for gold. I do not trust people in this games, i was scammed few times in the past and now, for a little amount of money but was enough to lose my trust in people.
But selling stuff from IM for gold isn't against the ToS, buying outside the game is. Bags 30/90days, scales/tears usually go quick.
