Games dead because 1. The community doesn't play 38/40 stages in the game so new players quit assumimg the games dead because nobody joins the rooms they make. This makes it seem pointless to give us updates that aren't moon and glac. 2. New players that stay have to deal with the moon, glac and nhaa communities which are all toxic. We lose most new players right here. 3. You get kicked for having wings. Nobody plays True Battle because someone told them it was uncool or more people in RF are Avalon reliant than they let on. Whoever made up these taboos should be shot in the leg. 4. Even if there are events nobody will do them and they'll later complain about the games lack of player interactivity/involvement. Even if it's something that's been asked for they'll 180 and either ignore it or bash it i.e. plaza, more BF scrolls, better boxes, tournaments. All of these were DEMANDED by the players and later scorned by the players once released. This makes the players that aren't complaining want to quit because they gotta see these people everywhere being two-faced hypocrites spreading their negativity. 5. People ddos players over literally nothing now. Every single person I know IRL that I got to play this game except one quit the 1st time they got ddos'd. The one got ddos'd at his barracks so it was really more of a joke on the ddoser. DDOSing is the most destructive thing to RF and it bleeds players out in droves. 6. 5% or more of the games active community could go to prison on Cyber Terrorism charges. Even Redfox Employees have been hit off. They aren't gonna support a game and it's community if they are actively attacking literally the game itself. 6 / 6 all the community And before anyone says anything negative about the game keep in mind that we outlived Street Fighter 4, mvc3, Mortal Kombat 9 and tekken6. We get an update every 2 weeks, sometimes big ones. Other fighting games dont get ANYWHERE close to what we do in terms of support.
you're right back guard is arguably better because it stops actual damage. It's not hard to avoid being edged most of the time when you know what you're doing.
You can get grabbed with a backguard and die immediately. Why should I have to kill you twice otherwise?
yes because both items give players an advantage one gets the player kicked 100%, while the other is 100% fine

good players don't get grabbed. "It's not hard to avoid being edged if you know what you're doing" Also not every stage is easy to edge on unless you only play moon.
Other than resets, bu's, grab/counter canceling, adv nanmu juggles, reverse juggles, drop juggles, flash rams, and a few others I'm too lazy to type but yeah all are glitches.
So you've never been grabbed a day in your life? Backguard only works if you're blocking, if you get countered then you're dead.
For me my tollerance is backguard>2X>wings. I can understand shells because people like to vulture and ****, 2X is kind've like a less annoying wings cause at least I have the chance to predict that as well, but wings literally take all risk out of fighting. I can purposefully not panic any combo knowing I'll just respawn anyway, then using my panic, and on top of that some people use 2X on top of that so essentially you're cheating death 3 times in 1 120 second round and I'm supposed to be okay with that? lol
Equipping a scroll vs using default is also an advantage, nobody kicks you for that. People who have saver vs people who don't is an advantage, nobody kicks you for that. A blackguard has to be used consciously, whereas angel wings do all the work themselves. Not really similar.
