Why did the use of revival items become taboo?

I swear everytime Steam gets mentioned I get this terrible feeling in my gut...

 

True so I dont know if its more of advantage or not it Just depends on the scenario. Panics are more of last option type thing then a life saver.

I consider a panic an illusion of safety that can help you sometimes but not all the time.
I consider revs an escape rope of RF that basically guarantees your safety by actually saving you from dying, getting knoncked off the map, pressure/combo lockers.

 

I would feel they don't even need to use wings in the first place because unlike newbies, they don't really have any lack of skill to compensate for to give them an edge in battle so there wouldn't even be a skill gap to compensate for.

 

Which is why to this day I deem the Insta-Drop Death thing completely counter-intuitive.

 

I feel the same thing about rfjp's potion batlle style respawn on moon and stuff as well. It kinda promotes exo spam even more and drags games on for wayyy too long. So I feel the opposite to me would be counter intuitive as well

 

So your original thoughts of revival items still stands?
What is your opinion on the future of these items? I mean if people ban revival items in almost every room this might stop the developers from creating more revival items in the future. Our opinions might have a direct opinion on new items in the future.

Well that's one of the ways we'll see a bit of an increase in players but not by much.

 

Sadly it maybe one of the few things that'll this little red wagon of a game going.

 

yeah don't expect much and I think EU would receive more loyal players from steam than NA.

 

Perfect way to get stalked and labeled a noob/newgen . Sad ain't it?

 

I don't mind revives if the whole room has them. If it's teams and someone decided to sneak them on, then I'm stalking.

 

How do you feel about new players using them when they dont know how most of the community feels about them?

My current idea/suggestion is to complete remove the rev item factor and make MORE game mode add on.
For example creating rooms could also allow you too have room add-ons instead of Room restrictions:
Types of room Addons:

• Classic mode - Only generation/season 1-2 exo's and scrolls are allowed.
• No potion pick ups on map( already have)
• Team kill(already have)
• Respawn mode (based off RFJP's respawn mode where you loose health every edge)
  
• No avalions
• No A teir exo's/scrolls
• No x2 panic(except for users level 15 and under)
• No Clowns.
• Etc
• No swear filter... Lol
  

This will remove the need for room restrictions all together .

 

So when it comes to new players I'm totally okay with them using revives. They're just starting out and they're being thrust into the free channel. After some time they'll lose those advantages and learn to be less reliant on revives.

 

Would really like that. Also classic mode guild war would be cool too.
