I read that everyone has 2 of those by default, and my friend seems to as well, but I only have 1. Why?
Until level 15, you get a second panic attack at the expense of not being able to nanmu. When you reach level 15, you lose that 2nd panic attack and will be able to obtain the ability to nanmu after winning 3 times in Survival mode. There is also an item you can equip to help you with that, called "Panic Attack +1". It grants you an additional panic attack as long as you have the item, giving you the possibility to have 2 panics with lv 15 and beyond and 3 panics below level 15.
