I was farming in cave of conqueror earlier today and some one attacked me (YIN server btw), I ended up killing him but I got this huge debuff All Points bulletin for 359 MINUTES!! Why did this happen can someone explain to me please? I didn't do anything wrong.
I think thats him marking you as "wanted", like putting a bounty on your head..its a system within the game,read it up a bit
Hmm.. that is so weird, the other person started the pvp, so his "self defense" status should be off, therefore after that player died he shouldn't be able to mark me as wanted. But I somehow still got it LOL, confusing
If at any point the combat ended i think it returns. I kow sometimes if they run away they can cancel; it out
The issue is that when you attack someone you only enter PvP mode for ~15 seconds. Once that timer hits 3 seconds they're essentially not really in PvP mode any longer. If the person that attacks you runs away and gets down to 3 seconds on the PvP timer than they will have self defense re-enabled. Fix = ~1m30s on PvP timer from attacking someone.
