Patch Notes [01/03/17] Hate or Love it?

How do you guys feel about Marang leaving the shop and xmas boxes getting extended? I don't think I'll buy a box again, but I'll try to get all those sets tho. I don't really care about Marang cuz I barely use it.

Honestly, I'm indifferent about Marang leaving shop since I don't really enjoy using it that much. With it being rare now, less people will have it, but more people that have it will use it because it's rare. I think we'll see a pretty similar number of people using it now as we have before. Xmas boxes I'm happy for, cuz I can trade for more and get that sweet Incinerate exo. rofl

 

Inb4 Street leaves the shop and becomes a rare.

 

x-mas boxes staying meant that the x-mas boxes gave A LOT of profit
and thus it only made sense to extend it further


but I really hate how they stayed, because it creates a huge wave of jealousy/envy. I understand that jealousy/envy take part in encouraging the player to also buy the boxes, but honestly, gambling is not something everyone should jump into.


The rates are decent for some, but a friend of mine actually tried opening 15 boxes and got nothing perm (and he doesn't like to spend RC that much too).

It comes to show that, even with such good rates, you can still be super unlucky. It's still gambling in the end of the day.



It's definitely the best box by far, but I've seen so many people become so discontent with their gear because of these boxes, to the point where they feel like quitting.

And it doesn't make anything easier, when they stare at the megas.




I feel bad for the carat users, since a lot of them want to play in peace, but have to go through all the mental torture of seeing players get gear they can never ever have.

But it all good cause New Years Spenders we getting that Noel Set

As for the update, I like that they're giving us a chance to get some of the more elusive set items such as the Katanas of Darkness and Great Leviathan sets. The K.O.D. (f) hair is probably the best in the game, at least for the humans, and the Great Leviathan exocore is the best Boss Mode exocore, and hopefully won't get touched by the nerf stick since it's $20 and is rare. :v

It's not impossible to make money, depends how hard you would work for it or what would you do to get it. I see them struggling to find traders as well rip.

BEST UPDATE EVER! we got more recycled items that cost big banger bucks!!! I cant wait to spend 40 yen on aquarium!

 

Trying to figure out a way to add a mute/pause button on it for those who don't like the music. Originally it was fine with the SMC player that was originally used on the site, but it's broken for whatever reason.

@EvilMarvin Any ideas?

The music has been removed as of 3:56PM PST, until I figure out a code to mute the music for those who dislike it.

Red Storm isn't even that bad hell its probably the least in strength of the new scrolls to been released.
