i actually just returned to RF after a very long break because of burnout climbing in league

now asura is released and i have to deal with everyone using this counter launcher nonsense

just because one scroll gets an alt nanmu doesnt mean every scroll after this one gets an alt nanmu too

 

the people who are stuck in ogp days are like those guys who only play melee. When stalker came out people whined too and now it's seen as one of the greatest scrolls ever like what the heck lol
we just have to adapt! No excuses!

oh and also death to all #Another scrolls, that ugly blue coloring is terrible is first off. and 2ndly , i think if we need more carat scrolls, just make original carat ideas, metaton is awesome, so is meriken, we can make really nice carat scrolls :-(

didn't RF Japan start with scrolls that aren't so blatantly overpowered?

to me that's the smoking gun in this argument - nimonix pretty much admitted they went too far with the power creep, and took the chance to start fresh on a new server. it's a shame that they dont have the interest or balls to do the same here. i really think we'd benefit from the fresh start, after the initial poopstorm of scouring the cancer


EDIT: i cant speak for the current community as im just returning, but the general consensus for stalker communitywide (1v1, moon, gw, etc) find Stalker to be a cheap and fun-killing scroll, rightly so. frankly its naive to just say to adapt to anything nimonix gives us

 

A new input here, some glitter there, profit. At this point its really just about making the next scroll or exocore more interesting than the next, not balance. I believe most, if not all content can be adapted to. But rooms can quickly become a **** show when everyone is using a lot of fx heavy, easy kill content. It discourages players from actually learning how to play the game. Instead, they become satisfied with doing (run) (guard)s and ****. It amazes me how easily satisfied this community is. At the end of the day the game is literally

every (2?) weeks.

They have made minor improvements but lets not pretend like Nimonix has become inspired every update.

we've been friends on steam for at least 3 months get out

 

tbh I dont even log into steam. started pirating games like last year and it got to the point where I had 20+ and none of them were getting finished. there are some people that I absolutely love like Swery (Hidetaka Suehiro) and id never pirate any of his stuff but most of these assholes make plenty without me. name on steam is my username on here
