ANIME/MANGA GENERAL THREAD [SPOILER WARNING]

I'm confused on Dragon Ball super. I've been reading the manga but it only comes out monthly and Toriyama is writing it. How is the anime going? Is it it's own thing then? Is it just being animated first and the manga is just there for people who like to read it?

 

Anime is canon. Manga is just a promotional tool.

Beerus brought Monoca only as a means to motivate Goku and Vegeta. Monoca is an ameteur who's never been in a fight. Makes you wonder who the mysterious character is that fights Champa. Maybe Gohan?

 

LOL they implied it super heavily once i seen him get punched when goku since then im like nah fck that hes weak af

 

Hopefully Gohan is the mysterious character.

 

I really do other wise this series is gonna be more trash then ever

 

Episode two of my hero academia made me catch up on the manga. The feels tho.

but yeah, I enjoyed the episode but I found it disappointing when Vegeta couldn't land a single hit on Hit.

 

Why does the creator have to make Vegeta such a... ugh.
Vegeta isn't as strong as Goku but he surely isn't no pushover.
He as an awesome entrance but gets owned 30 seconds later.

Don't forget he defeated Frost, Mageta, and Cabba. I'm fine with Vegeta struggling in that fight against Hit. It gave Goku the opportunity to watch and learn. Never know maybe Goku will learn the time leap technique?

And w-whaa?? You can combine forms with Kaioken? The only time I saw this was Goku vs Pikkon, when Goku went Kaioken whilst being Super Saiyan but only for a few seconds. But doing it whilst in God Form? J-Just.... wow.
From what I known Kaioken really takes a toll out of your body. so Goku better finish him quick.
