well im finally done using photoshop in my graphic design class so i figured i might as well go back to freestyle in my own time First thing is i love LOVE abstract signature hate making gfx though just love the wow i made that effect. so without further ado rate my signature
lol its a graphic design class we learned to do effects like billboard commercial and animations not signatures if you want i can show you something i've done in the class
SO BAD PLS KILL IT WITH FIRE 0.5/10 ... But it all seriousness this is legitamately one of the worst signatures I've ever seen there is no direction/flow colours are horrible, don't look nice - WHY DID YOU FREEHAND IT THE LINE ISNT EVEN STRAIGHT render itself is lowest of low quality Background (is that a random squiggle??) text placement is bad and distracting, the text itself is also awful you are a liar, I hope you failed that course because clearly you learnt nothing from it
I have a few suggestions. 1. Get a better program. If you can't afford it there a plenty of REALLY EASY ways to get it for free, or just get a free one. 2. LEARN HOW TO USE IT VIA TUTORIALS. 3. Download fonts, fractals, backgrounds, foregrounds, and get someone else to take a screenshot for you so it's decent quality. 4. Look up a rendering tutorial. 5. ???? 6. Profit.
The Signature Masters on the Forum gave you their judgement/advice, although this isn't my forte I'd like to give you criticsim and some advice as well. Typically in any composition something has to be the main focus or highlight. I'm presuming here it's the character but they BG is so busy nothing goes accordingly. -The colors Clash. Usually some sort of composition has either complementary colors or just monochromatic set to make it seem more pleasing to the eye. -A random cloud in the rear back immediately tells me it's a fart joke I pressume? Not sure what the purpose is. -The mask behind both makes me twitch my eye a bit since i'm torn between whether that is the white from the Image or just random eraser markings from that Black Faded layer on top. - The font is alright I suppose. -The render is abit clunky. All in all I'd Rate it a 2/5 That 2 being the Font. Try according colors something more eye pleasing. Painting over the Render ruins it IMO try leaving that in the back. Play with Filters. It changes a BG and makes them a lot more pleasing. And as @FUJlN said. Watch some tutorials. Hopefully you take this with the intent on improving and not just a personal attack because it's not. In the Art world criticism is the least of your worries. Good luck~
lol thanks and whoever said im a liar gfx and graphic design arent necessarily in the same area gfx for things such as signatures falls under a course we have called photo whereas graphic design we make things that basically youd make just messing around i use photoshop and i can do better i said this was my first signature in a long time if its for games i only play to kill time i dont put much effort into i made one for my twitter if you want to see what i can do..
You need to use higher quality fractals and higher quality renders. Also that giant white chunk of pixels in the middle is just... distracting to say the least. Hard to tell what's happening in the bottom left corner, definitely need to layer a little better/learn the eraser/use opacity toggle. Learn about layering options, soft light, screen, lighten, etc, instead of just slamming fractals on top of each other. Also learn how to make your render stand out more. It's overpowered by the crummy white and loud scraps everywhere.
Dude how can you look at that and think that you did a good job with it everything you use looks pixellated to sht and your text STILL LOOKS HORRIFYING
