Could use some tips, I'm pretty new to this stuff. Thank you. Arctic Nine-tail's Hair Black Arctic Nine-Tails Hair Tomboy Cap:
It kinda just looks like you traced or copied from an animu pic and drew on the hair. (Not saying it's a bad thing, just noticeable) Tips to improving drawing! Draw whatchu see. Draw irl. Self portraits, random people, pictures. Doing so helps you learn/understand anatomy. The most generic common thing people will tell you to do is improve anatomy so start off with that first. If you get bored or feel like you want to move on to another thing there's how light and shadow work. You learn it the same way as drawing. Look and try to replicate and understand how it works. Color can be incorporated into the lighting and shadow study but if you're starting out I don't recommend it. It's easier to learn things one by one. There's other things like gesture drawing and figure drawing. If you're the type of person that erases a lot then stop. Especially if you're just sketching and practicing. It's a waste of time to keep going back making adjustments to it if it's not going to be a finished work. Move on to a new drawing or try again from scratch. More practice!! Here's a website of people images: https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/ There's definitely a lot more to it than this but here's some basic stuff I can tell you now. Even if you want to draw in anime style knowing how to draw realistically will make your drawings better. You're going to have to draw everyday and practice a lot to really improve.
